Through the Ad Grants Crisis Relief program, Google has assisted over 100 government agencies and global non-governmental organizations. In addition, the CDC Foundation, the World Health Organization, and nonprofits around the world will receive an additional $100 million in advertising grants. Google will also invest an additional $50 million in collaboration with public health agencies to provide vaccine-related content and information to underserved communities.

Google went global on Thursday with tools to help people find COVID-19 vaccination locations. as the US internet titan boosts its efforts to control the pandemic It also pledged to supply vaccine doses to “needy countries.”

The Internet tech giant also intends to launch a cloud-based “personal agent” that will allow people to use text msg, chat or calling services to schedule vaccination appointments or obtain details on the subject in 28 different languages.

Google announced that it will donate 250,000 vaccine doses to “needy countries.” In addition, people will be able to locate vaccination sites in Canada, Chile, France, India, Singapore, and the United States.

Google said, “As we’ve learned in the pandemic, no one is protected from COVID-19 until everyone is safe.”Getting vaccines to everybody on the planet is a tough, but important, challenge.”

Google is one of several tech firms, including Amazon and Uber. That has contributed money or efforts to help people get COVID-19 vaccines.

In addition, 250,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were distributed to “countries in need.” In the United States, Google is promoting vaccine pop-up sites and offering an additional $250 million in ad credit to spread vaccine content.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services confirmed their collaboration with Google Cloud in late January. To develop online tools to help North Carolinians know their availability for the Covid vaccine and then locate the closest vaccine center.  

The “Find My Vaccine Group” website asks local residents a series of questions about their occupation, age, and other risk factors in order to determine which vaccine group they belong to. The “Find a Vaccine Location” website was aimed to help users find the nearest vaccine provider throughout the state. 

It makes use of Google Maps Platform APIs to let users search by zip code, current location, or current map view, and it’s updated on a regular basis with the most up-to-date provider data.
